If you don’t know what you want to do or what opportunities are available in your area then you should contact the Volunteer Centre. THINK
Think carefully about why you want to volunteer and what you would like to do. Think about the skills you have or maybe what skills you would like to gain by volunteering. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT
You will find our contact details below or you can use the online form to book an appointment. An appointment will be arranged for you . THE INTERVIEW
Interviews held at the Volunteer Centre are relaxed and informal. Our meeting will give you the time to explore what kind of volunteering opportunities would be most suitable for you. VISIT THE ORGANISATION
The Volunteer Centre will arrange for you to meet with an organisation of your choice. The informal meeting will give you the opportunity to find out more about the work of the organisation and what would be expected of you as a volunteer. BEING A VOLUNTEER
Volunteers are very important to the community. Without volunteers many services would be unable to function. As a volunteer you have responsibilities and you must remember that people will rely upon you. The Volunteer Centre will be there to support you in your role. What to do next... If you have taken the first step and are considering becoming a volunteer, then its time to contact the Volunteer Centre and arrange an interview. We can help you decide on the most suitable placement for your availability and skills. |
