• Choose how far you would like to travel
• Choose from available activities and interests
• Search on the name of the charity you would like to help:
• Select which times of day you are available

Applying for an opportunity

1) Apply on the Do-it! website.

You can apply for any poistion that you find by clicking the "apply for this position" button on the appropriate opportunity details page. This requires you to complete a short registration form for the Do-it! site.

Once you have submitted the application, a representative from the Volunteer Centre will be in touch and will help you through process of becoming an active volunteer. Good luck!

2) Register with the Volunteer Centre in South Tyneside

If you have found a suitable opportunity, make a note of the details and do one of the following:

i) Fill out the online registration request on this site

OR

ii) Phone the volunteer for an appointment to register (Volunteer Centre contact details) 

If you have not found anything suitable but wish to volunteer, you can still register and the Volunteer Centre will assist you in the process of locating your ideal opportunity.
